Vox Lucis — specifications
The numbers, with their conditions.
A figure without the condition it was measured under means nothing. Here you get both. This page covers Vox Lucis; the figures for Stele Lucis are on its own page.

How to read these numbers
Three figures to read properly.
On the 34 Hz
The 34 Hz figure is measured at −6 dB and in room, not as a ±3 dB anechoic response. It is the real number, with what it means written next to it: at that frequency the response is already falling, and stating it more flatteringly would have been easy.
On the 65 W
It is not a performance ceiling: it is the power the drivers take continuously. An 88 dB loudspeaker with a well-behaved 8 Ω load is easy to drive — it works beautifully on fifteen watts of a small valve amplifier, and does not need thousand-watt monoblocks to exist.
On the 88 dB
The tweeter, on its own, would play louder than the mid-woofer. In the crossover it is attenuated to match. A little sensitivity is lost and a linear response is gained: between the two, we chose the second. A loudspeaker that measures louder does not sound better — it just sounds louder.
Delivery and installation
A hundred and ten kilos of stone do not go by courier.
Transport is dedicated and includes placing the speakers in the room and aligning them to the listening position. In Italy it is included in the price. Delivery in ten to fourteen weeks from the choice of slab: the time to find it, cut it and work it.
